In Hosannah Tabor v. EEOC the Supreme Court ruled that churches enjoy wide discretion from civil rights laws in hiring and firing employees they classify as ministerial.
In a unanimous 9-0 decision, the Supreme Court handed the Obama administration and the justice department a stinging rebuke. This includes the two justices appointed by Obama.
